Step 1

During asthma review ensure a PAAP is in place (either paper version or app version) and the patient is confident in how to use it.

Ensure correctly coded.

  • A paper PAAP
  • The Asthmahub or Asthmahub for parents app, that provides them with a virtual Personalised Asthma Action Plan, as well as loads of really useful advice on staying well, using their inhalers, monitoring their peak flow and symptoms, and knowing what to do when their symptoms deteriorate.

Recording your progress

For every patient who receives a new Personalised Asthma Action Plan, or whose PAAP is reviewed during an Asthma Annual Review, be sure to record this in the 'Progress' section of the QI platform.
